Vaser Liposuction

What is Vaser Liposuction?

VASER Liposuction is a cosmetic procedure where ultrasound waves are used to break up and remove the fat. The critical difference between regular liposuction is that advanced ultrasound technology usage. Ultrasound waves help with rapid healing, skin tightening as well as easy removal of the fat in a way that regular liposuction cannot satisfy.

Why women choose Vaser Liposuction?

Similarly, to regular liposuction, women who struggle to lose deposited fat from key body areas - despite living a healthy lifestyle - will see this as a viable solution. Vaser Liposuction has two more advantages compared to a regular liposuction. This includes smoother, predictable results and a precise, targeted procedure that is suitable for large or small areas (including delicate areas such as chin and inner leg areas).

Vaser Liposuction procedure is the extraction by the suction of fatty tissue under the skin through small holes, using ultrasound. These holes do not usually leave a visible scar. Therefore, after treatment, it is not noticeable that you had the operation.

The duration of the procedure is determined according to the size of the surgical site where the fat tissue between the skin and the muscle is pulled through.

Vaser Liposuction is a surgery that requires a lot of care and experience just like a regular Liposuction. The decision sucking from the surface and deep in the body, and how much liposuction from the patient that needs to be done are decisions that are to be made with caution. Liposuction may also use lasers and ultrasonic energies. However, these are auxiliary devices which cannot be named as a technique.

Surgery Day

Surgery Day

We suggest wearing a dress shirt for the operation, but most importantly, you should wear comfortable fitting clothes.

After the Vaser Liposuction

Your Vaser Liposuction will be carried out with the utmost care by your surgeon and you can be sure that the same standard of care will continue during the regular post operative checks to ensure a smooth recovery.

The procedure is conducted under general anaesthesia, depending on the size of the field of use. Post-liposuction discomfort is generally mild. This is because your surgeon dilates the fatty tissue with the solution and usually adds local anaesthetics to the solution to extract the fat.

You will need to wear a garment or bandage on the vaser liposuction region for about 20 days. These special garments are typically not seen through the clothing, because they're very thin. You can get back to your social life between 1 day to 1 week depending on the size of your application area.
