A dental crown is a ‘cap’ – made from metal or porcelain – that is fixed on top of a tooth in order to cover it, restoring its strength and visually improving its shape and size.
A crown can be an obligatory solution if you have a single tooth that is either decaying, broken, or experiencing any other type of discomfort or impracticality.
After tooth preparation, measurements are taken and temporary crowns are applied. It may take 1 to 4 hours depending on the number of teeth.
There may be some tooth sensitivity in the following days after your crowns treatment.
