Travelling To Istanbul

Travelling To Istanbul

Our dedicated team will do their utmost in supporting you throughout the entire journey, but we do ask that our patients liaise with us by organizing their travel plans, such as booking flights and obtaining the right documents.

Please refer to our four key points of information that you need to consider here;

Travelling To Istanbul

Travel Arrangements

We do not operate as a travel agency; therefore our patients must make their travel arrangements.

Patients booking flights should make sure that the flight arrives at Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW), or Istanbul Airport (IST). Revital Clinical will make your hotel reservations after your booking is placed successfully.

Prepare Travel Documents

We will assist you in selecting the best possible options.

To enter Turkey, most travelers currently require a passport or identity card. Document Requirements may vary depending on your passport.

Apply for e-Visa to enter Turkey.

Make sure you are ready!

Most patients from European Union will not need to obtain an e-Visa to enter Turkey. If you are coming to Istanbul from outside the EU, though, you will need to ensure you have applied successfully.

Annual Leave

Most patients will require to take at least five days off work.

Most surgeries are often done in one day, and there is no need for extended time off for recovery, once you are home.

Once you have everything addressed above, you are now ready to embark on a trip to Istanbul.

Traveling and having an operation can conjure up nerves, which is perfectly natural, but we’ll try and make it as smooth as possible.
